This weekend I have installed a nice IRC bot, which informs our IRC chatroom #freewrt on irc.freenode.net about any changes in trac or on the blog. The bot software is rbot. Really simple to install and to configure. The name of the bot is "fwrt". If you don't like him, just use the ignore function in your client.
